I love everything about being an artist. So far I have illustrated some amazing projects that include magazines, childrens books, graphic novels, comics, theme parks, animated films, advertisments and toy designs. As long as I am telling stories with my artwork, I will go wherever the party is. Over the last five years, I have been the illustrator of the Ricky and Pals story in Ranger Rick Jr., published by the National Wildlife Federation. I received my BFA in Drawing and Animation from the University Of Central Florida and an MA in illustration from Syracuse University. I also have healthy box of comic books, a ton of Star Wars toys, and a giant rubber tarantula. I keep all of these things in my home studio in Winter Garden, Florida where I live with my wonderful wife Ann, our twin children, Kate and Nate, and Welsh Corgis, Penny and Leo. To keep things exciting, I also play goalie in recreational hockey leagues. Even after all these years I still get those goosebumps and pins and needles in my chest when I start working on a fresh illustration board or open a sketchbook to a pair of blank pages. I know anything is possible and it is going to be an awesome experience!
